Qualified Online Education Instruction
We build our online learning experience on a foundation of highly qualified instructors. Each one goes through a rigorous selection and training process.
We take immense pride in our instructors
Instruction
Allcrest Texas Academy selects and trains teachers carefully. Every teacher meets the Department of Education’s highly qualified requirements, meaning they:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree
- Hold full state certification or licensure
- Have proven mastery of every subject they teach
Instructors
A teacher is assigned to your student for each course they take. Elementary students (K–5) typically have the same teacher for math, science, social studies, and language arts, with additional teachers for electives like P.E. and art. Secondary students (6–12) have a different teacher for each course.
Assessments & Feedback
Teachers personally grade the assessments a computer can’t — between 30% and 50% of all course assessments. Along with grades, students receive individualized feedback on their performance and concrete suggestions for future success.
Synchronous Learning Sessions
Beyond the online course materials, assigned teachers hold synchronous learning sessions — real-time meetings covering specific content. Teachers are also available for one-on-one tutoring.
