Is online school a good option for middle schoolers?
Yes. Students work at their own pace, get individualized support from certified teachers, and build strong study habits before high school. Many students focus better with fewer classroom distractions and social pressures.
Can my student work ahead or catch up?
Both. Courses are self-paced, so motivated students can move quickly, and students closing learning gaps get the time and support they need. A semester course can be completed in as few as 6 weeks, with up to 20 weeks allowed.
How does online middle school work?
Students log in on their own schedule and work through engaging lessons with pacing guides to stay on track. Expect roughly 20–25 hours of coursework per week.
How can I check my student’s progress?
Parents can be enrolled as observers in their student’s courses. Observers receive a weekly progress email and can log in anytime to see grades, pacing, and teacher feedback.
Will my student be ready for high school?
That’s the whole point of our program. Students master core subjects, develop time management and independent learning skills, and can even get ahead with courses like Algebra 1 and world languages that build toward high school sequences.
